How to sew patchwork hexagon decorations

Have you seen Issue 9 of Love Patchwork & Quilting magazine? Inside we featured the most luscious hexagon quilt and cushion design by hexagon expert (hexpert?!) Florence Knapp aka Flossie Teacakes. Her quilt is a veritable paper piecing party! She created her designs to accompany the our free gift of some hexagon paper pieces, and if you want to practising your hexagon skills on a smaller scale, then here’s the perfect solution.

Florence kindly made this sweet little hexie sachet project to download just for you to test the technique. With some clever fabric cutting and placement, you could have a bundle of these in no time to give as gifts, or to add some summer style to your home. Even better, Florence shows us her tricks for adding dried lavender with zero mess.
