Welcome to Simply Quilting, home of two of the UK’s best-loved quilting magazines!

Today’s Quilter takes a fresh look at the world of traditional quilting. Every issue includes quilt patterns for intermediate to experienced quilters, inspiring photography, in-depth technique guides and a quilt block of the month, plus interviews with the biggest designers in the quilting world. Today’s Quilter informs, inspires and encourages readers’ aspirations to be part of that world. Each issue comes with a gift, from souvenir supplements to essential quilting tools.

Love Patchwork & Quilting is the go-to magazine for modern quilters seeking bold, fresh designs and accessible inspiration. Fiona Lawrence

Fiona Lawrence – Editor of Today's Quilter and Love Patchwork & Quilting

Having worked in the publishing industry for over 20 years, Fiona has worked in most positions, from sub editor working up to becoming editor of both Today’s Quilter and Love Patchwork & Quilting magazines. Working with experts like Lin Clements and Paula Hope (technical editor for the mag), plus incredibly talented designers, Fiona has learnt everything she knows about the wonderful world of quilting. Every day she picks up new skills and can’t wait to see what else she’ll learn and what projects she’ll make in the future.

Paula Hope

Paula Hope – Technical Editor

Paula Hope has been sewing since childhood. She studied Silversmithing and Jewellery at Glasgow school of Art and went on to teach Art and design in secondary schools. She finished her first quilt in 1997 and has never looked back. In 2003, Paula started teaching Patchwork and Quilting and subsequently started writing her own patterns for classes and workshops. Sarah Trevor

Sarah Trevor – Operations Editor

Sarah is the Operations Editor on Today’s Quilter magazine. She’s worked in craft and lifestyle publishing for 20 years and has been the editor of a wide range of magazines including Mollie Makes, Cardmaking & Papercraft, Cross Stitch Crazy and Eating & Living Gluten-Free among others. Her favourite part about working on craft magazines is the loyal readers and the dedication they have to their hobbies – nothing beats seeing a photo of something a reader has made that started out as your idea!

Sarah Griffiths

Sarah Griffiths – Technical Editor

Sarah is our resident tech-expert, as at home whipping up quilt samples as she is tackling complex quilt-math with the aid of her trusty calculator, so she’s an essential part of Love Patchwork & Quilting team! She’s got a fabric stash that any quilter would envy (and yes, it’s a stash – not a hoard!) and an almost indecent number of projects on the go at any one time. Sarah’s originally from Ohio, loves a good cup of tea and comes from a long tradition of family quilters. Find her on Instagram @spindleandshears

Sarah Trevelyan

Sarah Trevelyan – Operations Editor

Sarah loves painting, drawing, creating and all things textiles and craft, but her main love is machine sewing. Founder of small business Sarah Loves To Sew – Sarah offered one-to-one sewing lessons, workshops and ran a monthly sewing subscription business, alongside juggling a new career in film and TV. Sarah is now back as Operations Editor for Love Patchwork & Quilting after a period of being Acting Editor on Simply Crochet Magazine.

Sarah Orme, Senior Digital Editor

Sarah is an experienced digital editor and keen crafter. she has previously written features for The Guardian, In The Moment Magazine, Project Calm Magazine, Your Home, HomeStyle, Homes & Antiques, countryfile.com, radiotimes.com and yourhomestyle.uk. In her free time, she loves to unwind with a creative hobby and she’s tried everything from linocut printing to crochet.
